The pattern follows the real carpet closely: same colours, same medallion, same floral border, same layout. The only thing we left out on purpose is the Saudi state emblem woven into the original.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch4\u003eBlack and olive edition, the current carpet\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003eStarting in 2014, Saudi authorities replaced the mosque's red carpet with the green carpet seen today, finishing in Madinah by early 2022.
